Hi fellows,

I love this TC PowerPack but i have a problem.
When I press the "space" key, than (with the space counting) the cursor jump down.
I know, that feature eases the multiple space counting, but I hate it.

Please write me, how do I can switch it off!

Hello Guys,

Could someone tell me where can I set the StatusBar to display the filename which is currently selected instead of directory info?
As far as I remember this was the setting in v1.7 but now as I use 2.0Beta, I can't find where to set it.

Well I Translated all the way thru 19 pages.
Around page 6, someone had posted an .ini file which I deduced a few things from. So I tried to duplicate that...
Still doesn't make any changes to the Tab color.

Preamble:
Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. There doesn't appear to be any author created Thread on ghisler.ch for TwinKey. And the TwinKey download suggests discussion on the totalcmd.pl forums... Yet a forum search for "twinkey" provides no results.

Issue:
TwinKey seems very interesting, and I have been able to get it to work for the most part. I cannot figure out "View Modes" |_ "Auto Switch"
Is this a working feature? Or is there a syntax that I do not understand?
1) ViewMode "Description:" is this used for anything besides a Comment?
2) Auto Switch "Folder Filter" or "Match|Pattern"
This is my main confusion, what is valid syntax here (asterisk *?.)? And what is it trying to match against... Filenames in the list? The folder you clicked on? The Tab Name?

I installed TC PowerPack and while I like 98% of it, there are a few things I want to tweak.

Is there a way to tweak it but NOT lose my changes when I install a new version?

For example, I want to add a few buttons to the button bar, add an entry or two to the Directory HotList. I don't want to have to make the same changes when I install the next version of PowerPack

You need to install a wlx plugin, IIRC VisualDirSize.
Activate by Ctrl+Q.

Hi,

can you please tell me what steps should I follow in order to have access again
to the sort bar (highlighted with the blue cirle in the attached image)?
I have reinstalled XP, and TC PowerPack and now I cannot access that graphic representation of folder sizes. I find it very useful, but I need a little help (I looked everywhere) in configuring again TC PowerPack.

The problem are DLL files containing icons. They are 16-bit but Vista supports 32-bit libraries only. The best solution is to convert them using BeCyIconGrabber.

You will find files needed to be placed under "\skins\smooth\" path here:

I have no idea how is it under the scene, but there's been no information published for long. IMO it's not worth waiting, just come here every half year or so to check whether it's still to be released soon.

Unfortunately, there's no quick fix for this. The problem is because Vista dropped compatibility with 16-bit programs. This buttonbar is one ( even though it doesn't seem to be ;) ). It would have to be recompiled to 32-bit one in order to work. You can find a programmer to do it for you, it's max 30 minutes of work. But personally I recommend you to apply this patch.

I tried "Run As Administrator" but still can't see them...

I tried to install c:\TC PowerPack\ but nothing is changed...

This is the Windows operating system issue. If you use "&" sign once in the menu before some letter (Oom Poop & Co.) it will show underlined sign which is placed after "&" (in this case it will be: Oom Poop Co.) and will assign Alt+ as a menu item's keyboard shortcut (Alt+Space in the example).

If you want to display the proper "&" sign, you should write it twice (Oom Poop && Co.).

Tapping this three times theoretically should display & sign...
